Conservatives take a hit in Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells local elections

The Conservatives have lost control of Maidstone Borough Council, after the loss of 2 seats leaves them one short of a majority. In Tunbridge Wells, the Liberal Democrats have overtaken the Tories as the largest overall party.
