Drone footage filmed on Sunday (April 10) of Mariupol's Drama Theatre shows the extent of the destruction caused to the building that was damaged during the fierce fighting for the city.
On March 25, local officials in the southern Ukrainian port city, citing witness accounts, said they estimated 300 people had been killed in the bombing of a theatre on March 16. Mariupol city council officials claimed a Russian air strike hit the theatre where hundreds of people had been sheltering.
Russia has denied bombing the theatre. The Kremlin says Russian forces have not targeted civilians after Moscow sent tens of thousands of troops into Ukraine on February 24. (Reuters)
