SCOTTIE SCHEFFLER's wife, Meredith Scudder, wept with joy when her man was led to the 18th green at the Masters last night.
The 25-year-old American secured victory at Augusta with a brilliant performance to beat off competition from Rory McIlroy.
Scottie Scheffler receives an enthusiastic welcome on the 18th hole of the Masters, and his wife Meredith struggles to contain his emotions!
As she watched her man receive much support from the American crowd, Meredith burst into tears as he neared the finish line.
Scheffler secured victory on the 18th, despite a nervy four-putt to end things.
After his win, he said: "I tried to keep my head down and take shots.
"I knew if I took care of my stuff and played solid stuff, I'd get the job done.
"I'm kind of glad I missed those putts at the end because it meant I didn't get too excited."
Scottie and Meredith are childhood sweethearts, having met in their school days eight years ago.
The duo tied the knot in December 2020 in a Wonderland-themed wedding.
Meredith has a minor in communications and a minor in business from Texas A&M University.
