Following an urgent question regarding Ukrainian visas, shadow home secretary Yvette Cooper blasted the home secretary and her department, asking whether it was “deliberate or total and utter incompetence”
Cooper told the House of a family, whose visa was “revoked” after they applied for a different scheme on the advice of the Home Office, saying “the visa system is simply not working”.
Cooper went on to brand the government’s reaction to the humanitarian crisis as “Kafkaesque”.
