Hopes of President Uhuru Kenyatta and his handshake partner Raila Odinga to revive the push for constitutional reforms through the Building Bridges Initiative have been dealt a final blow after the Supreme Court ruled that the constitution amendment bill 2020 is unconstitutional, effectively stopping the reggae. Six out of the seven judges ruled that the president cannot lead a popular initiative to amend the constitution.
