Mark Scotch from Wisconsin met Hugh Smith from Louisiana in February of 2020 and donated a kidney late in 2020 so Hugh could get a kidney in early 2021. Since then Mark has established an organization - The Organ Trail - and has completed two marathon bike journeys for a combined total of 3,100 miles - to showcase the need for kidney health awareness.
