A senior SAS soldier giving evidence to the Ben Roberts-Smith defamation trial has denied he was trying to besmirch the war veteran's reputation by speaking to the media about him. Mr Roberts-Smith is suing three newspapers over 2018 articles that contained what he says are false allegations of unlawful killings, bullying, and domestic violence.
