The opposition conservative Yoon Suk-yeol celebrates winning South Korea's presidential election, which has propelled a political novice and avowed anti-feminist to the helm of Asia's fourth largest economy. "This is a victory of the great South Korean people," he says in a speech just after 4am at the National Assembly Library, where the conservative party's election situation room is located.
