Russia and Ukraine officials conclude first round of talks in Belarus

Russian and Ukrainian officials began talks in Gomel, Belarus, on February 28, 2022, four days after Russia invaded Ukraine. Delegations from both sides expressed the possibility of a second round of talks soon.
