Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday launched a scathing attack on Congress and said that a party which is plagued with "infighting, cannot provide a stable government in Punjab." Addressing a rally in Jalandhar ahead of the Punjab Assembly elections, PM Modi said, "The Congress policies have destroyed industries and affected employment in Punjab. The party is disintegrating and its leaders are exposing it. The [Congress] party had deep animosity towards Punjab and Punjabis, and created thousands of obstacles for those who wanted to work."
