Book lovers get ready to turn some new pages! The 65th annual VNSA Used Book Sale is Feb. 12-13 at the Arizona State Fairgrounds, 1826 W. McDowell Road, Phoenix, 85007. Proceeds from the sale support Literacy Volunteers of Maricopa County and Arizona Friends of Foster Children Foundation and other local nonprofit organizations.
More than 500,000 books, DVDs, CDs, video tapes, games and maps for sale as low as $1. Everything but the Rare and Unusual Section is half price on Sunday. The 2020 sale attracted more than 15,000 people and raised more than $340,000 for area nonprofits.
An all-volunteer organization, VNSA members work all year collecting books from drop boxes, retail locations and private donors. VNSA has donated more than $9 million to Valley nonprofits through the years.
Sale hours on Saturday are 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday hours from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
