On February 10, voting for the first phase of Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections began. The voting, which began at 7 am will continue till 6 pm. 58 Assembly constituencies are polling, covering most parts of western UP. An average voter turnout of 20 per cent was recorded across the 58 seats till 11 am, reported NDTV. During the first phase, there are 623 candidates in the fray. 58 seats are going to polls in the first phase. Assembly polls in Uttar Pradesh will be conducted in seven phases on February 10, 14, 20, 23, 27, March 3 and 7. Results will be declared on March 10. Watch the video to know more.
