A bird's eye view over the ruins of Libya's ancient city of Sabratha
Aerial shots show the ruins of the ancient city of Sabratha, 100 kilometres west of the capital Tripoli, in the Zawiya district of Libya. Perched on the edge of Libya's Mediterranean coast and spread out over 90 hectares (220 acres), including a part engulfed by the sea, Sabratha is one of three former cities that constituted Roman Tripolitania.
