Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav on Monday alleged that his chopper was not allowed to take off from Delhi for Muzaffarnagar, where he was scheduled to address a rally.
Tweeting a picture of himself in front of the chopper, Akhilesh Yadav said that no reason has been given for disallowing the flight, while a top BJP leader was allowed to fly from Delhi.
Later, Akhilesh's chopper was allowed to fly to Muzaffarnagar, where the SP chief held a joint media interaction session with ally RLD Jayant Chaudhary.
