Infection rates slowing in some states as Qld braces for Omicron peak

The Omicron wave appears to be slowing and has more than likely peaked in NSW and Victoria according to some experts. Meanwhile, Queensland is bracing for it's peak on Australia day, forcing cancellation of many events.
