Karnataka reported a massive spike of 41,457 new Covid cases and 20 deaths on Tuesday. Despite this, the state government has ruled out imposing a lockdown. On Tuesday, BJP National General Secretary CT Ravi stated his opposition to weekend curfews and lockdowns in the state, saying "goverment must protect livelihood".
