Four police reports have been lodged over online scams from buyers of Chinese New Year snacks involving RM51,400 worth of losses.
Kuala Lumpur Commercial Crime Investigation Department (CCID) chief Asst Comm Mohd Mahidisham Ishak said in a statement on Thursday (Jan 13) that police received the reports from Jan 9 until Jan 12 and advised the public to be careful when making purchases online to avoid being victims of such scammers.
