The number of corona patients is increasing rapidly in the country and this has increased the risk of a third wave. The situation is worse in the metro cities. In Mumbai, 6347 new patients have been confirmed in a day, while in Delhi, 2716 cases have been reported in the last 24 hours. The number of Omicron infected across the country has crossed 1500.
