'We lost everything': Brazil floods leave thousands destitute
"I entered the house with water up to my belly, [...] then everything collapsed," says Eliane Silva, a resident of Itambe after floods caused by heavy rains in the south of the Brazilian state of Bahia killed at least 21 people.
