Voting is underway in all 144 wards of Kolkata Municipal Corporation on December 19. Polling began in 1,776 polling stations. Heavy security arrangements have been put in place amid pandemic. The counting of votes will take place on December 21. The KMC elections were due for 2020 but were postponed due to Covid-19 pandemic.
