Campaigners in Kent are demanding for smart motorway construction to be halted, over fears of road casualties.
It comes as MPs and the Commons Transport Select Committee have called for a review of smart motorway safety.
Sam Cockerill, whose partner was killed on a motorway hard-shoulder, says she hopes to raise awareness of the dangers of these roads.
But some Kent MPs believe the solution is not so simple.
