Mumbai Mayor Kishori Pednekar on December 4 said that the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) is alert about people returning from 'at risk' countries to keep Omicron variant of coronavirus at bay. “We are expecting the results of the samples sent for genome sequencing. The samples of 288 foreign returnees were sent for genome sequencing,” said Mayor Pednekar.
