Looking back at Brad Stevens' first move as the Celtics President of Basketball Operations it is very clear the Celtics dodged a bullet by unloading Kemba Walker to OKC for AL Horford. Earlier this week Tom Thibodeau announced Walker was removed from the New York Knicks rotation completely. The former multi-time All-Star in Walker seems to be a shell of his former self. While the Celtics were able to successfully dump his hefty salary in the trade with the Thunder they also received an asset back in Al Horford. Horford has seen a resurgence this season as the veteran is averaging 12.4 PTS, 3.2 APG, on 46% shooting while ranking 8th in the NBA in Blocks per game. The Garden Report takes a look back at the offseason and discusses why it was a success given their multiple limitations.
