More kids hospitalised with respiratory problems in India as toxic smog continues to choke New Delhi

The Indian capital New Delhi continues to suffer from toxic smog brought on by industrial pollutants, the practice of burning crop stubbles, along with colder temperatures. The worsening air pollution has sparked local school closures since November 13, 2021. Hospitals meanwhile are seeing a growing number of children being admitted for respiratory problems.
