'Large crowds gathered to witness a breathtaking ice calving event impacting the Perito Moreno Glacier in Argentina.
Remarkable footage filmed by Mack Moyer shows an enormous part of the said glacier breaking off and falling into the water, causing it to splash upward, much to the spectators' awe.
"This was taken at Los Glaciares National Park (Patagonia)," Mack stated. "It clearly shows a large chunk of ice detaching from the Perito Moreno Glacier."
It doesn't need to be said that the glacier in question is touted as one of the most notable tourist hotspots in South America. It was named after Francisco Moreno, an explorer who took a special interest in finding out more about the location back in the 1800s.
This awe-inspiring clip was recorded on March 12, 2018.
