One of Melbourne's biggest tips is hoping to clean up its game by turning food waste into electricity. Wyndham council in Melbourne's west will spend $30 million turning the Werribee tip into a waste recovery centre that'll include a waste-to-energy facility. The council says it'll cut the amount of landfill it dumps in half.
