Following Prime Minister Narendra Modi's announcement on Friday that the three farm laws will be repealed, at least 32 farmers' organisations from Punjab are scheduled to meet on Saturday to decide their next course of action.
The farmer unions, which have been sitting on a protest on different borders of Delhi since November last year, are likely to decide the future of their agitation and their stand on the Minimum Support Price (MSP).
Meanwhile, the decision-making body of the Samyukta Kisan Morcha (SKM), an umbrella body of 40 farmers' unions that led the stir, is scheduled to meet on November 21.
According to sources, this meeting will discuss the final decision on the agitation and MSP demands.
