Council rejects plans for a new Lidl store in Herne Bay

Proposals for a new supermarket in Herne Bay could be shelved after council officers rejected the plans. Lidl wants to build a two thousand square metre store on the Old Thanet Way but a report has recommended that the plans are rejected.
