Greg Clark, who is also the MP for Tunbridge Wells voiced his concerns at an Apprenticeship week event, saying that a no-deal outcome could be devastating for Kent.
Mr Clark also highlighted the importance of apprentices in helping the county's industries.
However, he also said he was confident the Prime Minister could still secure a deal.
