PM Narendra Modi Inaugurates Purvanchal Expressway, Says ‘Uniting Uttar Pradesh', Attacks Previous Governments

On November 16, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the 340 km long Purvanchal Expressway in Uttar Pradesh. PM Modi landed on the Expressway in the Indian Air Force’s C-130J Super Hercules transport aircraft. He was greeted by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. The Purvanchal expressway covers Barabanki, Sultanpur, Amethi, Ayodhya, Ambedkar Nagar, Ghazipur, Azamgarh, Mau districts. PM Modi slammed the previous governments. PM Modi praised UP CM Yogi Adityanath, who had been criticised for his handling of the Covid-19 situation.
