Senior lawyer Saurabh Kirpal has been recommended to be elevated as the judge of the Delhi High Court. A three-member Supreme Court collegium made the recommendation. The collegium was led by Chief Justice of India NV Ramana. The collegium comprised of Justices UU Lalit and AM Khanwilkar along with Chief Justice of India NV Ramana. If appointed, Saurabh Kirpal would be India's first openly gay judge. Watch the video to know more.
