The Statue of Ma Annapurna Devi was brought from Canada to Kashi after 100 years. The idol was stolen a century ago. During this, a grand program has been organized in Varanasi. It is said that on the occasion of Deepawali on November 10 last year, Prime Minister Modi himself had announced that the idol of Mother Annapurna is coming back to India. This idol was stolen from Banaras in 1913, and later it was taken to Canada, but the Indian government after efforts brought it back to the motherland again. Watch this video.
