Seif al-Islam Kadhafi, son of slain Libyan dictator Moamer Kadhafi, registers to run in December presidential polls that aim to help the country turn a page on a decade of conflict. Speculation had been mounting for months over a possible presidential bid by the son of the former dictator, whose fall in a 2011 NATO-backed revolt triggered the country's descent into years of violence and political turmoil.
