Schools in Delhi will be shut for a week from Monday in view of deteriorating air quality, chief minister Arvind Kejriwal said on Saturday.
"For a week from Monday onwards, schools will be physically closed; to continue virtually so that children don't have to breathe polluted air," the CM said.
The CM also said that construction activities will not be allowed from November 14-17.
Government offices will operate from home at full capacity for a week, while private offices will be issued an advisory to opt for the same option as much as possible, he added.
