Umno deputy president Mohamad Hasan has denied that the party is trying to play the role of 'big brother' in the Muafakat Nasional pact.
Mohamad said Umno has been fair to PAS and gave the Islamist party enough time to accept the terms to cooperate in the Malacca state polls.
However, he said PAS couldn't accept the terms in time.
