The first case of Zika virus was reported Uttar Pradesh's Kannauj district on Satrday, November 6. The Zika virus was confirmed in a 45-year-old male. “We had sent 32 samples for testing out of which one tested positive for Zika virus. 19 samples from his village sent for testing,” Chief Medical Officer Dr Vinod Kumar said.
