On March 1, as Amreesh Sharma was harvesting potatoes from his field in Sasni village, #Hathras, #UttarPradesh, he was shot dead. The primary accused is Gaurav Sharma, who was named in a #sexualharassment complaint by Amreesh's daughter in 2018.
After spending a month in jail, Gaurav was released on bail. He had allegedly been threatening Amreesh's family since then, telling them to withdraw the complaint against him. "Yesterday he came with five other people and shot my father in the head, feet and chest," the daughter said.
