The New South Wales premier Dominic Perrottet has refused to be drawn on the corruption investigation into his predecessor Gladys Berejiklian, but has defended the decision to spend 170 million dollars on the Wagga Wagga hospital. Mr Perrorret's name came up in the intercepted phone calls played for the ICAC when Ms Berejiklian reassured former Wagga MP Darryl Maguire that she had instructed the then-treasurer to include funding for the hospital in the state budget.
