The #Congress failed to win a single seat in 2015 Delhi Election. Five years on, the party seems adrift. Newslaundry attended one of the grand old party’s campaign rallies in South Delhi’s #SangamVihar and found it listless. Both #RahulGandhi and #PriyankaGandhi were in attendance, yet there wasn’t much excitement and optimism, in stark contrast to the campaign events of #AAP and the #BJP.
Still, the Congress retains many loyal supporters, some of whom we spoke with at the rally. They explain what keeps them tethered to the party.
