The deputy Chief Health Officer has warned Queensland's covid case numbers could surge to hundreds per day, once the borders reopen in December. The dire predication came as surf life saving clubs were transformed into pop-up clinics, in a last ditch effort to vaccinate all eligible residents before the next wave comes.
