Clashes erupted between local traders and police in Delhi’s Mayapuri Industrial area on Saturday. Clash erupted after MCD officials launched sealing operation in the area following National Green Tribunal's (NGT) order to seal nearly 850 factories for allegedly violating pollution norms. Local traders pelted stones at police officials in protest, following which the security forces resorted to lathi-charge.
