Africa has never won a FIFA World Cup. But this year could be different. High hopes are pinned Mohamed Salah, Liverpool's favourite, who will be playing for his home country, Egypt. And Egypt isn't the only promising African country. Five nations have been selected. Nigeria is appearing for the sixth time in the World Cup. In 2017, they defeated Argentina in a friendly match. Senegal has made it to the quarter finals before, in 2002. They are the highest ranked African team in the World Cup. Tunisia still hasn't made it past the group stage, and they've got a tough group in the first rounds. They will play England and Belgium. Morocco is joining for the first time since 1998. They didn't concede a single goal in their qualifying round. Is it time for Africa?
