India won the toss & elected to bowl first in the decider of the T20 series in Bristol. The pitch at the County Ground had a grass topping but the ground dimensions made it a delight for the batsman. Jos Butler & Jason Roy clobbered the Indian bowlers in the powerplay & scored 73/0. Hardik Pandya’s last 3 overs brought back India to the game & curtailed England to less than 200 runs. India lost Shikhar Dhawan early but Rohit Sharma never let his absence felt. Alongside Virat Kohli, India looked the favourites to chase down 199 till the Indian skipper departed. Hardik Pandya smashed the ball all around & made a mockery of the rest of the runs. Rohit Sharma scored his 3rd 100 as India won the T20 series against England.
