On October 21, an F-35B fifth generation fighter jet made a vertical landing on the British Royal Navy aircraft carrier HMS Queen Elizabeth in Arabian Sea near Mumbai. The aircraft is in India for a joint exercise of Indian and UK forces off the Mumbai coast. F-35B fifth generation aircraft can conduct air-to-surface, electronic warfare, intelligence gathering and air-to-air missions simultaneously. The British High Commission tweeted \"Namaste India\" as the Carrier Strike Group entered Indian waters. This comes after Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Prime Minister Boris Johnson agreed upon the UK-India Comprehensive Strategic Partnership in May. The Indian Army tweeted, “The 6th Edition of India-UK Joint military exercise culminated after a validation exercise at Chaubatia, Uttarakhand.” Watch the video to know more.
