Authorities are stepping up efforts to vaccinate the indigenous community against COVID-19 with immunisation levels lagging behind that of the non-indigenous population. In the aboriginal homelands of Arnhem Land in the NT, 86 percent of the population have had a first dose and 64 percent are fully vaccinated.
