EU reluctant to repatriate Daesh affiliated families

Now in its 11th year, the Syrian refugee crisis remains the world’s largest refugee and displacement crisis of our time. 60 thousand people, most of them children, live in squalid conditions in these camps. Among them are 2,500 families with purported connections to Daesh terrorists. Painstakingly slow and on a case-by-case basis, EU countries are bringing their citizens home.
