COVID-19 breakthrough infections among fully vaccinated people have been occurring in T&T and the Ministry of Health says, it has been seen regardless of the brand of the vaccine, in keeping with what is seen internationally.
However, health officials say the vaccines continue to offer protection against serious illness and death, as most fatalities remain among the unvaccinated.
