Union Home Minister Amit Shah recently visited Andaman and Nicobar. During this, while giving his address, Union Home Minister Amit Shah also made a scathing attack on the Congress on the question of familyism. Amit Shah claimed that there was a deliberate attempt for years to belittle the contributions of several well-known freedom fighters and even Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose and Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel hadn't earlier got due recognition, respect, or importance. Today, when children read and see history, I feel that Netaji did not get as much importance as he should have gotten.
