'The awesome moment a baby ferret got its first swim was caught on camera by Lara Mirnik.
This video, filmed in Radenci, Slovenia, features the owner introducing her pet to the water for the first time.
"The ferret was around 1 week old at the time of filming," Lara told us. "The owner socialized the baby with as many different people as possible to give it different experiences."
She added: "Also, she carried out various tests to see if it was normal. And this test was a no-brainer since most ferrets can swim without concern. Also, when these polecats are young, they have a lot of energy and swimming is a good exercise to burn it off."
The furry thing ends up doing a brilliant job at treading water and gets praised by its owner.
