An encounter broke out between terrorists and security forces at Gundjahangir in the Hajin area of Jammu and Kashmir's Bandipora district on Monday morning. One terrorist was gunned down in the encounter, Jammu and Kashmir Police said. Search operations are underway in the area. In two separate search operations in Bandipora and Anantnag, two terrorists were killed by security force personnel. The terrorist killed in Bandipora has been identified as Imtiyaz Ahmed Dar. Dar was associated with TRF, a terrorist organization affiliated with Lashkar-e-Taiba. Imtiaz Ahmed Dar was on the lookout for the murder of a civilian in Shahgund Bandipora. Four accomplices of terrorists have already been arrested in this case.
